Every child deserves a loving, safe, and nurturing environment, yet many vulnerable children in Uganda face neglect, poverty, and lack of basic care. At AACCEM, our Child Care Centre provides a secure space where children can grow, learn, and thrive physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Our goal is to ensure that every child has access to education, nutrition, healthcare, and emotional support, giving them the foundation to build a brighter future.
What We Do
1. Safe Shelter & Protection
We provide a protective environment where children are safe from abuse, neglect, or unsafe living conditions. Each child is cared for with love, respect, and attention to their individual needs.
2. Nutrition & Health Care
Daily nutritious meals to support growth and development.
Regular health check-ups and medical support to prevent and treat illnesses.
Hygiene education and provision of essential supplies like clean clothing and bedding.
3. Early Childhood Education & Learning
Structured learning programs for preschool and early primary levels.
Activities that develop literacy, numeracy, creativity, and critical thinking.
Exposure to arts, music, and sports to foster well-rounded growth.
4. Emotional & Spiritual Support
Counseling and mentorship to help children process trauma and build confidence.
Bible study and faith-based activities to nurture spiritual growth and moral values.
5. Life Skills & Social Development
Team-building exercises, recreational activities, and community events.
Guidance in communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal relationships.
Preparing children for integration into schools and community life.
Impact So Far
50+ children currently enrolled and cared for at the centre.
100% of children receive daily meals and basic healthcare.
Educational support has allowed all enrolled children to participate in formal schooling.
Emotional and spiritual mentorship provided to every child, helping them build confidence and resilience.
